Hola livejournal people. Most of the time I forget about you people because I rarely come here anymore, but today I was party to much venting of spleen about crazy angsty shit that I thought I would just jump right in and take part again.

In short - I have another fucking stalker.

This guy seems to be in every one of my classes, and seems to think that because I ride the same bus as him I am his girlfriend.

He doesn't seem to realize some things:

1) When I say I don't want to go out with you, it doesn't mean that you should choose another time and venue and ask me again.
2) When I say I'm going to the washroom and I'll see you later in class, it doesn't mean that you should follow me to the washroom and wait for me outside the door.
3) I am perfectly capable of walking home from my bus stop by myself. I don't need to be accompanied.
4) When I say absolutely nothing to you and look like I'm pretending you're not there, it doesn't mean that I'm waiting for you to say something.
5) We are both adults so you're allowed to use the word "penis" without blushing and/or stuttering.

I mean fuuuuuuck. Leave me alone!

When I was 7 or 8ish and my dad and I were home alone, sometimes we would crank the stereo all the way up and listen to lots of vinyl. Boxes of it. One day he pulled out a copy of the album Moving Waves by Focus, and explained that there was one song that I absolutely had to listen to because Thijs van Leer had such an amazing voice.

It was so weird and different that I never forgot that day.

What can I tell you about this song? It's Dutch progressive rock meets yodeling. Yes, yodelling. See for yourself. It is awesome and entertaining.

Alright, my current music collection has sadly become a little stale and I just got a new hard drive that I'm itching to fill.

Suggest anything.

This is what I've already listened to.

Other than that, I'm in school doing 15 credits, which feels good. My courses:

CMNS 371 Structure of the Publishing Industry in Canada
CMNS 353 Technology in Social Context (with a focus on the human genome project and my hot prof)
SCD 201 Community Economic Development (is technically a post-baccalaureate course, so everyone's older and cooler than me and that's a good thing)
SA 250 Sociological Theory

I did the editing and layout of a magazine that finally got published and doesn't look too shabby thankyouverymuch, I worked for the government over Christmas to add to the Erin badly needs to go to Norway fund, Devon called me and he's shaved off his beard and kind of looks all emo right now, but change is a good thing.

I am so fucking addicted to Kingdom of Loathing it's not funny.

Ibuprofin is love

I woke up in the middle of the night because I have a tooth that is bothering me. I seem to remember asking the dentist last time I was in about getting it pulled out because it was sore, but he said that it should wait.

They're wisdom teeth, you see, and my dentist wants them to grow in so that he can just pull them out himself instead of sending me to a dental surgeon to have them cut out. The only problem with that is that I have a really small mouth, so small that they had to pull 6 teeth out to make room to straighten the rest. I'm quite afraid that letting the buggers grow in naturally will move them around again and the last thing that I want is to spend my tuition money on getting braces again.

So my dentist and I disagree, I'm now losing sleep and it's not quite noon yet and I've consumed the maximum recommended doseage of ibuprofin written on the bottle. Thankfully the drugs are taking the edge off of it, however my ear is still itchy. Does your ear ever get really itchy when your throat is sore? Mine does. It's like that, only tooth related.

Perhaps I'm just being a little paranoid, but I know that my dad ended up in hospital with a nasty infection because no one thought to take his wisdom teeth out and seems to me my mom's became impacted and she needed some really fantastic painful surgery to remove hers because they became fused somehow to her bones. (My parents don't have pregnancy or wedding horror stories, only dental ones.)

But seeing as I share a lot of genes with them, is it not reasonable to assume that I have a higher chance of having these weird dental conditions and mishaps than the average person? I explained my reasoning to the dentist and he doesn't listen. He's got dollar signs in his eyes.

I'm fucking paranoid.

I've been busy pimping out my other blog lately. It's been kind of slow going because it involves learning css and seems to me that it looks like crap in Explorer but Explorer sucks ass so I don't care.

In spite of having some really crazy dreams lately, I've been seriously lacking in the inspiration department.

I want to do some animation like I used to do at Emily Carr.

I also want to do some good photography, not like the people flash their nipples at me kind of photography. Well, actually I don't much mind the nipples. I should get some mad photoshop skillz like Merkley and then I could pornify my blog.

Summer projects. Everything's a summer project.

I hope people enjoyed their new years celebrations. I seem to have an unusually large number of nipple shots on my camera coinciding with that date. Not sure what to do with them just yet.

Because I'm a fan of mental torture, I've been actively updating the Bokmål version of Wikipedia. Most of the articles about Canada were wrong and because I'm kanadier, my word, as far as wikipedia.no is concerned, is God. Ah, the insignificant power.

Stalkers

Somehow or other I've picked up a stalker. He's very polite. Sends me links to contemporary art and attempts conversation in broken English.

It all started out when he sent me an email explaining how he really likes my blog. Not this one, the other one. I had mentioned a famous Indian philosopher/astrophysicist and he had decided to do some research on him and sent me some links. I emailed and thanked him for them.

That in itself isn't a strange thing. People email me all the time to send me links or ask a question in private or tell me that my blog is awesome (their opinion, not mine). I usually email them back.

But now this guy has decided that he would take the liberty of figuring out my birthday and then paying for a custom astrological reading for me. Did I ask for this? No.

He's also started sending me cameraphone pictures of himself and he looks suspiciously like a brown version of Jessica's Steve. (though he's definitely not, as his ip address is definitely from Calcutta)

What he really needs to understand is that the official contract to stalk me was awarded last September to this man:

He scoured the internet and managed to find an ugly picture of me when I was 11ish, a writing contest that I won, some bad poetry and a petition that I signed once.

I retaliated by finding out his school, his address and phone number, his place of work (both organization and address), and his income tax records from last year. Then I found the same for his brothers. He was surprised, but then not so surprised because I'm one smart cookie.

The naked mole rat is the only cold-blooded mamal. It lives in colonies that are structured similar to that of bees and ants, one queen and a bunch of lackeys.
